Blog Post #14

Well, not much happened this past week, unfortunately. The weather has not been too kind in my opinion. I was hoping to have a good start on my first projects of the semester, but snow has put a damper on my plans since classes were canceled and I couldn’t really leave home. Because of this, I feel like I am already behind, which is sort of stressful; however, this time off has given me the opportunity to revisit some of my ideas that I had originally came up with. I have been making changes and coming up with new ideas that I think are pretty interesting. Because I haven’t gotten started on these projects yet, it gives me more time to think about what I really want to create. I included a picture of my original sketches that I had come up with the first week of the semester. I do still really like these sketches, but I feel like some work could be done with some of the ideas. I haven’t made my mind up as to what I am going to start with first, but I plan on making more work this semester than I did last semester. I am very excited to bring some of these ideas to life, and to see what all I can accomplish over the next few months. Even though the weather has taken some of my work time, I am still very optimistic for what is to come!
